Elo-Kin

Preparing for controlled betaPolicy version 2026-08-05

This summary reflects the Elo-Kin 2.0.201 source, provider configuration, and public privacy notice reviewed August 21, 2026. Elo-Kin is a connected service and does not use the offline-only privacy model of AliciaOS utility apps.

Information processed

Elo-Kin processes account and authentication details; household and profile information; tasks, routines, countdowns, templates, and completion history; journals, logs, and private media; settings, notifications, support communications, consent records; and limited technical and security information needed to operate and protect the service.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate accounts, synchronize household features, apply profile permissions, deliver requested notifications, store and restore content, provide exports and deletion tools, respond to support and privacy requests, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and maintain security and backups.

Households and children

Elo-Kin is designed for shared households. Content visibility depends on household and profile permissions. Children cannot create independent adult accounts; an authorized adult creates and manages child profiles and receives a separate parental-consent notice.

Health and sensitive information

Users may choose to place health, school, work, or other sensitive details in logs and journals. Elo-Kin uses that information only to provide the requested organization, sharing, security, export, and deletion features. It is a consumer organization service and does not claim HIPAA compliance.

Optional AI Quick Capture

The ordinary parser runs locally. Text is sent to OpenAI only when the profile option and server feature are both enabled and a user deliberately submits Quick Capture text. The submitted text is used to suggest a structured action; unrelated household content is not sent for that interpretation.

Service providers

Elo-Kin uses Render for hosting, Supabase for database, authentication, and private storage, browser/platform services for requested push notifications, and OpenAI only for optional Quick Capture. Providers receive information only for their disclosed service role.

Advertising and tracking

Elo-Kin does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use third-party advertising trackers. It does process limited security and operational diagnostics needed to provide and protect the service.

Device storage and cookies

Strictly necessary cookies, local storage, IndexedDB, and service-worker caches support authentication, settings, offline operation, queued changes, recovery, and performance. Advertising cookies are not used.

Retention and deletion

Retention depends on the record and user choices. Elo-Kin provides archive, export, Recycle Bin, purge, household reset, and scheduled account-deletion controls. Account deletion uses a seven-day cancellation period before connected records are removed, subject to limited lawful retention and backup cycles.

Security

Safeguards include encrypted transport, account authentication, restricted database roles and row-level policies, profile permissions, hashed PINs, rate limits, private media storage, audit events, migration checks, and backup and recovery controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on location, users may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or object to processing, withdraw consent, and appeal a denied request. Identity and household authority may be verified before a request is completed.

Contact and full notices

Use Contact Support inside Elo-Kin or email support@elo-kin.com. Do not send passwords, profile PINs, or unnecessary health or child information.
